History of Pingvinen FC

Where did it all start?

At the very beginning of time in GW 4 there was a mid-size team going by the name of Ipswich Town FC managed by the young, up and coming manager Jay Derriman. Hovering around the 100 mark on rankings ITFC never really surprised anybody finishing around mid-table most seasons.
Then came the live worlds... After 11 seasons guiding ITFC through the choppy waters of Beta the decision was made to part company, therefore presenting the chance to build a club from the very bottom up.

PINGVINEN FC was formed

Starting out in GW Keane the Pingu's quickly established themselves as a well run club with potential to become one of the top teams. This was sadly short lived, the owner/chairman/manager Derriman one day decided it was time to move to pastures new. With the Pingu's sat at the top of the table and in the semi finals of the cup it was all scrapped.

Derriman and the club moved to GW St John.

With a steely determination not to make the same mistakes and become a force within the GW superstars Yobo and Gaurin were quickly signed up and the Pingus were on there way again. The first season was a relevation, the league title was won on in the last match of the season. A win was needed and the team didnt let their growing fan base down, after going behind to an early goal the team fought back with Derriman ranting from the touchline, barking orders and then almost crying when the game was finally over.

The first and so far only silverware to have made its way back to Helmes Deep was secured.

The Pingu's had landed............
