Transfer targets

Pingvinen Press office

Today we can reveal what areas the manger would like to improve in the coming close season. The need for a backup striker has been highlighted already and a right winger. The manager has revealed though that he is looking to bring in a new central defender and a right winger.

'The cost of signing a striker that would be of a good enough standard would be to high for our club. Because of this I am happy to use our youth strikers to back up the first team. I would preferably bring in a AMR/S so then he could maybe take on the role of backup striker as well.'

The potential targets have been indentified but are not going to be revealed until any deals are done. This site will bring any news of new signings in the next week, stay tuned.

Diogo Rincón has signed for the Pingu's from Blackley Rangers for the princely sum of £210,000. With the mangers concerns about the first team squad being a little on the light side, the board moved quickly to secure the signature of Rincón. An attacking midfielder who will give the youthfull team the experiance of competing at the very top.
Manager Jay Derriman was quoted: 'He will give me more options in the midfield and his experiance will really help the younger players. I am very pleased the board has backed me on this move and I am confident we can now ease away from the relegation zone'
